A week after they suffered a disappointing 1-1 draw at home to Freshford United FC, Nigel Tripp’s title chasing hopefuls Holt FC dropped another 2 points when they were held to another 1-1 draw, this time away at relegation threatened Dilton Marsh Wanderers FC.
Wanderers who defeated Hilperton Greyhound last weekend took a 42nd minute lead courtesy of captain Dale Rowland.
Holt’s response came on 51 minutes when Joseph Bakali-Laughton restored parity, but from there. neither team were able to conjure up a winner.
Holt in third place are now in trouble of being caught by a clutch of clubs headed by Frome Collegians, FC Devizes United and Melksham Town Development.
